Better Ebook or Tablet to Read?

Many people consider whether it is worth having a different gadget for each thing and think that having a tablet, an eBook does not provide any added value. However, if it comes to reading, the typerse offers a number of undeniable advantages. In this article we explain why.

EBook vs. Tablet

If you wonder what are the advantages and disadvantages of each, the first thing we must be clear is what each of these gadgets is:

EBook or electronic book is, in fact, the book in digital format and not the reader of electronic books (e-reader) although we tend to call them in the same way. You can log on to websites

The screens of these devices are made of electronic ink, generally a material that imitates the paper and, therefore, is not backlit. This screen, however, is usually black and white and is not prepared for much more than reading.

Tablet: is a kind of laptop with the touch screen that allows us to install multiple applications and use it as a multimedia team. Its use is similar to that of a smartphone or a computer, although we can also read books in it, sometimes even in the same formats used for e-book readers.

Bearing this in mind, some people may think that it is much more practical to have a tablet, which is much more versatile, instead of an electronic book. However, as typerse indicated, most ebooks have a screen made of electronic ink, a technology totally different from the screen of tablets and other electronic devices. The electronic ink screens do not emit light like those of ebooks with integrated light, but, like paper, reflect it.
